Our Founder: Father McGivney
Father Michael J. McGivney was a catholic priest at St. Mary's Church
in New Haven, Connecticut, when he founded the Knights of Columbus in
1882.
His vision was to help catholic men to remain steadfast in their
faith, promote fraternity among them, and aid and assist widows and
children of deceased members.
Since then the Knights of Columbus has grown to over 1.7 million members
worldwide.
